GIPPCC is a coalition of hospital systems, hospices, families, and supporting organizations dedicated to optimizing the quality of life for every child in Illinois living with chronic, complex, and/or life-threatening illness, their families, and the teams that care for them, regardless of geographic location, preferred setting, or the family’s financial situation.

Missing Pieces, a program of The HAP Foundation, provides a centralized hub for grief support, education, and resource navigation for children, families, and communities impacted by a pediatric death. We work in collaboration with more than 70 organizations that bring expertise in supportive bereavement for child loss by illness, trauma, homicide, drug overdose, and suicide; they serve families and children grieving perinatal through young adult deaths. Missing Pieces partners work together through education, program development, research, and collaboration to improve bereavement care and raise awareness about the unique needs of grieving families

Celebrate, honor, and remember children forever loved.

We walk for our children. We walk for their memories. We walk together in support of GIPPCC and Missing Pieces and our mission to support seriously ill children and grieving families.
